uru 341
There is a lady here in the States that breeds a lot of merles, but she call them "Atlas Terriers".They are a combo of Rat Terrier,Patterdale, maybe Jrt.But she used to have a site. Her name is "Autumnbriar".Some are sharp lookers. Here is a link: http://www.imageevent.com/autumnbriar/ Quote Link to post

Guest SJM
Woodga has one its a cracker This is Freddie, a "one off" from a litter I had, there was a red merle in the litter too, but its dappled markings had all but vanished by the time it was 8 weeks old, Freddie stayed blue merle, his new owner sent me these pics a few weeks back, he is a right wee character Quote Link to post
jembo 0
I found this litter in the for sale section: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=69900 The sire must be classed as a merle, and one of the pups has really unusal colouring. Quote Link to post
Guest SJM
I wouldnt class it as a merle, just a heavy speckled/ticked colour. You get that colouration in a lot of breeds, border collies/aussie cattle dogs/pointers etc. Thats just my opinion of course, the owner of the dogs on that thread would be able to comment more. I have seen a jack russell with one blue eye and one brown eye, it belonged to an old man who lives along the street from me, it didnt have any merle markings though, it was tri colour so I guess blue eyes can show up in jacks from time to time, same as they can in any breed with a lot of white?
