But I am so glad that this place is back. We have a superb group of regular members in the shooting section, of which I'm only too happy to help them, as are many,many others.

 

Ditto what John Said, Get out there with your weapons of choice and let us members reply and commend.

 

Here's to the rest of the year and beyond, and to reading and replying.

 

This is a stage for which we can show what we are capable of doing, and doing it well.

 

Thanks for the people who have helped me so far, and I look forward to calling on you again.

Hi all,

 

Just wanted to say "thank god" this forum is back online as so far it has been a lifeline to me!

 

Being new to shooting/hunting, it's sites like this which can answer questions and provide recommendations for people unsure but eager to learn the correct and responsible way of doing things. This in turn prevents people, like myself making silly mistakes or being mislead into purchasing over expensive and unnecessary equipment.

 

With reference to an earlier post, it may be a good idea to have a dedicated area which covers the more "frequently asked questions" (FAQ's) preventing the amount of repetition in the main body of the site.
