karl_20 0
It does sound like a battery problem...but you mentioned Deben pack is it a single battery pack or a double...if it's a double pack it most probebly wont be the battery..if's it's a single battery and it's a old battery it could be knackered..Check the connection's on your charger to make sure it's charging your battery properly.. Millet its the double pack ive checked all the connections and fuses and still wont charge, i can leave it on all night and its only got enough power to just light the lamp. Quote Link to post
weejohn 3
i had the exact same problem with my single battery from deben, it turned out to be the deben battery charger that was nackered . Quote Link to post

You may have over cooked the battery Try a full discharge then a 2 hour charge then discharge the battery completely then a 12 hour charge I had the same problem but the above sorted it Quote Link to post
on-point 0
i had this the other day, seriously annoying but found out that it was just theat the negative connection to the battery terminal had come off under the caseing, nipped it back on and sorted. bad when it ruins a night and after a drive. my charger has never worked propperly either, i just give it 12 hours now and hope that is ok.
