Small ferret

Here is a real small hob ferret that i have. He was bred this year but is still a lot smaller than any i've seen. In the pic he is next to a jill that is the same age as him. He is in good health and certainly not 'starved down'.

was thinking the same mate thats why i asked, iv never seen it before, be good for reducing size though for the people who like small ferrets lol.

Are they from the same litter , maybe you just have the two exremes very big & very small , it dont looked starved to me in that picture of them on the floor looks decent enough just tiny , good tail length as well

Yeah mate, I was kinda joking. Considering he'd made a point of it in the first post, and its next to another one of hhis own ferrets which is good sized its quite obvious that I wouldnt say that it was actually starved down in any serious way what so ever.

years ago i had a jill like that was the smallest iv ever seen people always asked if i had crossed the mother with a weasel lol she was to small to work allways getting beaten up so just used her to breed off and she never had any the same size as her

Its head shape looks like a kits, doesnt it ? Some sort of deformaty, or retardation ?

Smallest i've seen though

A good friend has a very small jill, who is a cracking worker, so we breed from her this year, and

all the kits are now bigger than her.
