Im about 6 miles from skea close to maguiresbridge, sika around lisniskea ... got a some around here heard of red in teh garrison area but they are a bit to big to handle on my own.... got to get permission first heard fallow . hope you dont mind me asking .... do you have any ground you shoot on .... well i havnt got a rifle yet but ive been out with my dad and his shotgun just walking roun some land which a friend of the family has rights to and seen a few deer. i was just wondering if there were any stalking courses in the fermanagh area? No the courses are run by either the BDS (british deer society) or Basc i could find the dates if you like.. i was thinking about going out tommorow (am) and the afternoon for a walk cool good luck man did you get the pm i sent looks like it was not sent ...but hey here goes again.... the courses are run by the bds british deer society theres one being run on the following dates NORTHERN IRELAND, West Tyrone 17-18 & 24-25 January For an application form and details of the course please contact the Training Department at education@bds.org.uk or on 01425 655434 contact in the north is : Damian McElholm (info@differentfish.net) if you ever fancy a walk just give me a call 07792786889 johnnie thanks for the offer mate but im probably too young. id just get in the way sorry just thought if you and your dad wanted to shoot some of the deer on his ground .... well give me a call or msg on here thanks man i might just do that, ill have to check with the landowner first but sounds good. ps :what rifle u shoot? 6.5 x 55mm styer with asa mod very good with little or no recoil flat shooting ....i,ll put some pics up when i find them Quote Link to post

Im trying to get some ground in either donagal or wicklow but no joy at the moment. Any joy with the farmer .... if you shot something what would you do with the meat...ever eaten any venison ? Sorry for the delay ..but thoought id sent you a reply looks like i messed up ... well i shot a 6.5 styer with 8 x 56 s&b with ase ultra. i was out to day and got these two.any update with the farmer...thats if you want to have a shot.
