Just got a brand new CZ style .22LR. Love the gun and doing quite well with it but just one niggle. With a full (5) magazine the top of the nose of the first round sometimes jams on the top of the entry going in to the chamber. I just tap it with my finger and it then goes in OK. The following 4 rounds in the mag go in no problem its only ever the first one. Has anyone else had this problem? Will the gun/mag bed in or have I got a problem?

All the best

Probably a plan to try another mag....I recently got a CZ HMR with metal mag and had all sorts of problems with it, took it back and found it was actually 2mm short..unbelievable, the gunsmith noticed it as mine and another were stood next to each other on the counter...we were all gobsmacked, me, Mr L , my lad, the gunsmith and the shop owner, none of us could believe what we were actually looking at...been fine since I got a new mag!!!

Hi mate.Just got a new CZ Style myself. Also get the same problem on occasions. It only seems to happen on metal mags.Local gunsmith said it is because the new guns are designed for the new plastic mags. I dont now if that is 100% gen. but i dont have problems with my plastic mag. :)

it will be fine mate its just the ears on some mags that need opeaning abit to let the bullet sit better in the mag. you see in the 5 shot ones the 1st 4 will be fine but if the mag isnt right then ever bullet you put in is at a bit of a different angle then it should be.

this then makes the last bullet sit at a funny angle. if yours is working fine then leave it well alone.
