well mate nothing easier

than show the pup it just say no

take to the door put it outside

may take a few weeks but it works .dont need to rub its nose

just genrally giving it routine by showing and taking out.

and if you can leave your door open some off the time will help.

but it will soon start heading to the door  good luck

Agree with the above advice.

Be consistant ignore the accidents(don't punnish or rub his nose in it :icon_eek: ) and praise when he goes outside

Take him out after he eats when he wakes up. You will soon recognise when

he is looking for somewhere to go. Quickly take him outside and remember to praise!

They want to please so will stop going in the areas you ignore and will go where you

make a fuss of him. All my dogs have been house dogs. I have had a fare few dogs now

and they are all house trained in no time.

As mentioned above they may have the odd accident but it generally falls into place quick enough :D

Oh and if you are consistant taking him to the same spot all the time he will catch on :D

With 7 week old puppies the best and easiest way is to take them out every 20 mins or so, and as mentioned after playing, sleeping, feeding etc. Praise and some tasty treats will work, he won't understand punishment and has no control over his bladder at the moment, meaning he can't hold it so it's not his fault at all.

Getting a cage inside is also a great way to house train, if he eats and sleeps in the cage it's very rare that a puppy will litter it's "den" unless it really has to.

Regular garden trips are the best option and this way you normally avoid any accidents in the house, so the pup can't form any bad habits. My 6 mth pup was house trained in under a week with this method. He now has a dog door which he uses.

Good luck.

when i get my alsation pups and keep one i tend use the cage best way to train them when about 6 months and pissing etc in the cage try them for a night on their own without cage once they dont do out over night a couple of nights then they should be trained but do not keep dog in cage all its life send them nutty in personal experience.

you could do the above, but i rub their nose itn it, and im not kidding it works in 2 seconds as long as you make it clear that inside is bad.

You have got to be kidding, we moved on from that 20 years ago surely  Use a crate and take the pup out at regular intervals/after meals/sleeping etc and praise it after it goes outside.

well we were try9ing that and we would wake up before school 7:20 am and he would have tasken a piss on ythe floor, and he would be taken out every night so eventualy we rubed his nose in it and told him it was verry bad, and it worked,.

not for every one i know but it worked for me fine :)

Sleeps in a crate, they are less likely to toilet where they sleep, as long as you let them out :D

Using a crate/cage to confine the dog gives the pup its own "space", dogs crated at night are less likely to soil there own sleeping area and its makes house training quicker and certainly less traumatic, dogs allowed access to a whole room at the young age often take longer to train as they can soil one part of the room and it has little consequence
