He aint the be all and end all of things, im sure the site will do just fine with out him. Yes but it's not just the point of who it is it's why was he banned? i'm a member on a good few forums and although i'm new to hunting i can see that theres a click on here! It seems if your not in with the right people you don't have much hope? There aint a click , if you start pissing people off and causeing trouble then people will turn against you. Maybe this thread is just a timely example and a warning to everyone to only believe a quarter of what they read and half of what they hear (even from the horse's mouth: so many people have hidden agendas that the rest of us know nothing of) when it comes down to politics (this is after all a really good example of politics innit?) Guest hpool_hunter Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 my little ADD to this FARCE - whatever MARK as done cant be half as bad as some other members have writtain / said in the past - but the mods themselves will have their OWN reasons to SUSPEND him i guess - the site as been going down hill for some time , and i guess if it doesnt start to pick up anytime soon , it WILL close . and were will everyone be , all these people who sit behind the comp , slagging people off , not actually doing any REAL work with their dogs . now i dont mind MARK at all , infact his posts are great reads - and atleast he shows he works his dogs , so im hoping he gets back on , and also wish him luck in the comp . but at same time this site needs sorted NOW. before it gets CLOSED! . Simoman 110 Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 Well John, Ian and Millet has responded and explained the situation so hopefully this matter can rest, as for other members "getting away" with disrupting threads and abuse/threats etc then how would anyone know what the mods send out behind closed doors or via warnings. Debate is a great method of communication yet time and again threads degenerate into slanging matches and threats. Nothing wrong with disagrements and debate, its when members can't draw a line at debate and abuse (this is not aimed at anyone directly). There is always more than meets the eye and hopefully we can move on. Ian sent a very clear message via pm's and on the board that the arguments and sillyness had to stop and yet despite this and chats via pm's asking for members to take a step back and think some have continued and not heeded the warnings leaving the admin/mods with little choice, I'm all for a bit of sarcasm and a laugh but things often get carried away. I've met some great people from this forum and I'm sure it will continue to flourish as the membership increase, good members come and go and we must all take responsibility for what we type, at the end of the day Ian owns the forum and is the guy on the front line taking the flack.
