If however the bitch and dog had three seasons each and were performing consistently then I would be glad tp pay. If the bitch is two then based on reasonable asssumptons she can only have been working for a year and as half of that year is spring and summer then in reality sge has only been working six months which is 26 weeks and given the average lad is out saturday and sunday and two or three nights a week when conditions are right there is not alot of time for a dog to be teseted, sure she may have got off to a great start but thats all it is a great start. I think you are being hasty in going ahead with the mating and anyone that buys a pup on this information is taking an unreasonable chance. They are two good looking dogs but would be better mated two seasons from now. The bitch has had a 12 months, I am out EVERYDAY OR NIGHT, and i am certainly not a fair weather hunter! hunting is my livelihood so any dog in my kennel MUST pay their way lol! there is no chance taken here mate, I ALWAYS keep in touch with all my pups from all of my litters and always make sure the new owners know that i will buy the dog back if at any point they are not happy, as of yet i have not had one returned, all are working and everyone is happy 100% including me. I personally have only started breeding working dogs in the last couple of years but my parents have done it since i before i was born and all their experience is passed on to me. Any way these pics were not meant to be an advert they were just for a member on this site who used to own the gimp, the sire of my bull x, i am giving him a pup and wanted to show him the bitch, the pups arent even in her belly yet! cheers Quote Link to post
