BBB 7
yeah i used to do it regular back in the day we used to go over the weekend take gun's ,fishing rod's,dog's . we used to knock a dodgey den up out of bushes ect .and for food a couple tin's a bean's ,chocolate digestives and penny sweet's plus anything we shot. spit roasted. i remember once we shot half a dozen pigeon's. and it started raining .so we dropped everything and started making a fire and shelter. anyway we got that done and ma mate said right get them pigeons plucked we'll roast the fockers. we went to were we left the pigeon's.. feathers every were. the fockin dogs had ate em while we were busy . we where gutted and had to do with a quid's worth of mo'jo's Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
We did the same friday night. The dog had a couple before we even got the tents up, weather was terrible for lamping though but we had a good mornings ferreting the next day. i dont know where you were, but it was f*cking freezing in kent! Thick frost over everything! Nothing beats it imo, good food, good company and the dog and ferrets all working well, we even had the longnet catching for the first time. There should be some pics when zebedee321 aka John gets round to putting a topic up Quote Link to post
Molie1337 35
Right, ive finaly got round to putting the pictures of the weekend onto the computer! We all met up on friday after work at our yard, zeroed the rifles and then headed off for the camping grounds, early enough for it to be light enough for us to sneak up to the pond and snipe a duck, with permission to shoot anything in season, we usually flight this pond but this time it was air rifles only and stew is a tasteless dish without meat! it was me who took the shot, with the ultra(still cant fault it!) and mable (the white dog in the pics) retrieved. so with one duck in the bag, we set up camp, started the fire, got the stew on the go, and kicked back for a few hours with a case of london pride. with us and the dogs well over fed with stew we all departed to our seperate "basha's". it was a damn cold night! but it was the 2 lads with dogs that were the warmest! After a breakfast of damper bread with london pride and raisins in, sausages, onions, mushrooms and bacon. we were ready for a day at the squirrels, first we went to the farmhouse garden where the old lady has her bird feeders(not very hardcore i know but we were there to shoot "those bloody tree rats") we only shot one here, and sat for half hour watching 7 playing on the next farm alongs lawn! bloody typical! We left the garden, and went back down to the woods, the dogs were flushing rabbits left right and centre, but with no shotgun they were free to run, we must get that beddiexwhippet! didnt see any squirrels here either so we left for another permission, 96 acres of working coppice woodland, we walked around for hours, didnt see 1 squirrel! shot a crow though so its not all bad! we left this permission for a quick walk around another permission near my house, and shot a pheasant, so all in all not a bad friday/saturday! Good going mate, i still havent seen the pics from our trip. its good to see we are not the only maniacs sleeping out in the frost to get closer to the hunting! if you ever need a couple of lurchers and a few ferrets to add into the mix on another trip just let me know, i f*cking love it!!!
