The activity aint illegal if on permission and using one or two dogs to flush Hares to a GUN-GUNS .

SS im not contridicting you or anything just pointing out that on permission im sure you can use up to a maximum of two dogs to flush Hares to a Gun or Guns ?

 

I know mate, and that's sort of my point, MB is implying that what he is up to is the same as 2 Spaniels flushing hares out for a Shooter to kill cleanly.

 

The "being knowingly concerned" law is as vague as that, if I introduced 2 lads who them went on to commit crime together then that's me, "knowingly concerned", I don't care what goes on in the dark, it's none of my business, but ............ when it starts getting shouted about and bragged about on here, then it brings us all into the spotlight.

 

One man's big mouth and ego could easily ruin this site for all of us, and to be frank (if Frank doesn't mind for a minute) as far as I can see the centre of all the trouble at the minute has clearly identified himself.

Knowing that someone is breaking the law and not telling the police is not conspiracy......it might be assisting an offender or concealing an offender but it wouldn't be conspiracy to commit the offence, unless you assisted in teh actual act.......unlawful hunting ...acting as a beater etc....

 

the assisting and concealing an offender would be hard to prove anyway and wouldn't be persued in this case, thats more for hiding someone in your house when the police are looking for them

 

 

 

whether it would be an offence or whether it would be investigated....its attracting bad press and should be avoided, we all know the law and the exceptions within it, stick to them use them, talk about them but avoid publishing any unlawful activity!
