cairn terrier

Recommended Posts

last monday i went to see a litter of lakie X jack pups at a farm about 15 mile from where i live .I didnt have the contact number i had was for the farm next door, when i got to the farm there was no one in so i phoned the number i had ,the guy said he had a litter of terriers so i thought i might as well have a look since i was prety much next door, anyway he had a litter of cairn terriers and my girlfreind fell for a little pup that he brought from his kennels to show us, So she had to have it he was looking for £350 and i only had £100 with me he was happy to let us take the pup and and return a week later with the rest of the money, and he would have its KC papers ready for us , the pup was 13weeks and hadent had any jags so i took it for them and found out it had an eye infection. When i when i went back to see the guy a week later the fun started. The papers were dog lovers register papers a thing i had never heard of but he asured me they were just as good as KC papers .I then asked him to see the mother and to see his kennels as i was wondering where the pup got his eye infection, He was very reluctant to let me see them tryed to make al sorts of excuses why i couldent and when he finaly let me i new why .There was at least three litters of cairn and westie pups in a room in an old portacabin the floor was covered in dog waste and news papers just put on top of more news papers ,at least 12 pups of 3 sizes with one plastic dog bed to share and a bakeing tray on the floor as a food bowl .The room next to it had a westie bitch in it with a litter of dark pups that must be less than a week old in the same conitions the pups were al over the room and the bitch looked to be rejecting them. Two other rooms must have heald around 20 adult dogs and bitches free to mix if that wasent bad enough .When i got home the papers he gave me for the dog said it was 9months old but it was no more than 4 i no that, So that night i headed back up looking for money back and i had a camcorder with me .Ive not got any cash back yet but am not going to let this drop the pricks wasent to happy when he seen me taking pictures of his kennels but i wanted some evidence of the conditions of this place so ive called the spca i no they can be a pain in the arse some times but dogs shouldent be in these conditions . Something has to be done to sort this prick out and get the dogs off him.

So... you went to buy a lakie x jackrussel, ended up buying a cairn, didn't see the mother, took it with no papers and an eye i

i nfection, thirteen weeks old but not innoculated and then you don't notice the papers are for a nine month old pup ?.

Then you wonder why people like that are still in business.

Fair point there. But really we should be praising him. Puppy farms have to be stopped kennel cough and other diseases run rampant in them. At least he is doing something about it. Fair play i say :clapper::clapper:
