got a terrier here not out of workin stock hes 2 in december so he should be old enought to start is it best to send um to ground with other dogs first or see if he will enter on is own,thanks tips please anyone

i started my dog at 2 (bit late i no) but anyhoo she kinda had the instinct from the word go, shes a very intelagent little thing, but i took her out with anouther of my friends dogs who was very experienced and well she kind of taught herself to some it all up....didnt take any teaching to be honest she just automatically new what to do.....was well good

hi lad give the dog time bring him along with other terriers let him see the quary over grond and let him mix it once or twice then try him on his own do not pit him to ground with a hard dog

take your time,but be alot easier if you find an experianced terrier man to take you out a time or two.

bring your terrier along see what way it acts around the entrce of the earth with something in it.show him one in the pocket if his keen let him travel the earth and see what happens.hopefully he will do the job but wouldnt count on it if his not out of digging stuff.hard enough get them out of workers.but u mite be lucky mate
