FAVIOURITE DUCK CART.

Recommended Posts

Scotland: Inland duck and goose where lead permitted - Anything in 32grm+ 5's, Favourite probably Lyalvale Super Game or Victory's Victory-felt 5's

Inland Goose: Victory Minimag 40gm 3's

All foreshore: 3" Express 36grm Steel 3's 1410fps or Eley Bismuth 34grm 4's for duck

Goose: Have been using 3" Hevishot 3's until this season when I switched to Remington 3.5" Sportsman(1550fps)/Nitro (1425fps) in 39grm 2's as good grey goose and large duck load at reasonable cost.

Come on Hull and Lyalvale, bring out some fast home grown steel goose cartridges that are not £1 each!

Gamebore, increase the velocity of the mammoths and I'm your new customer

perfect, as long as they are not decoying in too close. If they are close and you are getting a good shot pattern on them, use a lighter load like a 30gm of 4's or 5's. But they are a diver so you need a decent cartridge to hit them hard. And if it is as Wag suspects, fast flighting at sunset, the Buffalo's will charge them down:D .

I used to use Buffalo 4's on the foreshore before the no-tox laws, great ammo

gamebore manmouth 3" no 3s once and a quarter awesome carts

Gamebore steel is too slow (1300fps), why make such a good range of shells in the US teamed with KENTgb and produce such a poor quality steel load here. More likely to break bones than kill

well they have certainly killed tonight 2 graylags and a pair of pintail to go with em and they wernt close by any means they might be slow but they seem to hit hard from my experience
