Guest air gunner
not dissing or anything aaron but i would shut up while your ahead. its best not to say anything thats not constructive. some people hunt for pest controll and dont want to mess around other dont leave it to them to choose their weapon suitable for their use. Tyla 3,179
in short: i think shotgun shooting is a great and enjoyable way of hunting rabbits but dosent it get to easy? or am i just a great shot with a 12 gauge with number 6 shot ? Exactly how much shooting have you done? Wasnt it only last week you shot your first rabbit with the air gun? i dont want to put a damper on your enthusiasm lad but you cant be an instant expert on everything, maybe gain a bit more experience before you go knocking other people? Try it, you might find you get less grief on here too Quote Link to post

whippeter69 88
Arron, iv been shooting a shotgun for just over 4 years and started out with a 410 bolt action now im on a O/U 20bore. Iv only just got the nack of it and i have found the bore i like, a 20. 12 bore is the same thing just a bigger pattern and more choice of cartridges. Now obviously you are talking sh*it about shooting a shot gun is a bit easy, just becasue the patten on a 12 is a big one dosent mean that everyone can shoot with it. Try smaller bores before you say your a good shot with a shotgun. Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
a couple from last year taz nice rabbits, there pretty fat! although not airgun, rimmy and shotgun. not wnating to dis shotgun shooting its a great enjoyable form of shooting but isent it a bit too easy? i mean ive done ishotgun shooting with a gamkeeper/flyshing instructor and he lets me blast a few bolting ones with his big fat 12 gauge, its neary imposibale to miss. after a while dont you just want the skill of stalking a rabbit with an airgun? How would you know, youve only shot one bloody rabbit and now your talking about stuff you havent tried. Quote Link to post
00taz11 39
i started using a mates .410 then he sold it and bought a 20 bore used that for a year then it was a 12 bore silver pigeon with the white gold cartriges and to be honest i liked the 20 bore better as i could hit the target no bother but the shotgun in the picture was the 12 bore which does the job really well Quote Link to post

Having started with the 410, it made it a bit easier to hit stuff but harder to hit stuff then the 12, love the gun. Has a nice pattern and i can(normally) hit what i want with it lol Quote Link to post
