I contacted Deben and enquired if they'd service 3 boxes i have,under no circumstances will they help me,so i have 3 useless yokes.anyone know of someone that can do the job?Its a shame as one is relatively in good nick.Hoping you can help.

there is a guy in staffordshire which sells reconditioned ones. Diggermad will have his number. I expect he will either buy them off you or fix em if you pey him enough, all I know is that his name is Mick

 

mick dadd is it? i have his number he has boxes for sale at £60 very good cond seems a genuine enough guy

yeah hes genuine, met him at chatsworth this year, makes good nets too

he said he sold nets, I think it may be mick dadd, he told me that they are 40 for a locator and 40 for a collar.

 

he must of tried robbing me then :laugh: think hes in the CW this week just flicked through 1 in the shop and it looked like him

If they have been laid -up for a while it is worth taking (carefully ) the circuit board out and giving it a wipe with a cotton-bud dipped in white-spirit or similar. Work it gently into all the crevices under the speaker as well . This removes verdi-gris that builds up on the circuits and spoils the continuity. Worth a try and costs nothing. As for the silly depth indicater stickers that should be on the wheel.Forget em ,simply get a tape measure and scratch your own depth gauge marks on the dial . Good luck
