Keeps 403
Well we were back out this morning, with Nuala fully fit :sun: The weather wasnt bad, a bit windy, which as difficult in the woods, and cold, but bright. It turned out to be a very very slow morning, one of the slowest we have had - maybe its a sign time to move on to some other ground. There were rabbits about, as we'd seen them go to ground, but the sets here are very deep (some of them 16"+ not registering on the Mark III ) combined with the fact that we were using mostly very young kits, and one older one who worked them well but as I said, it made the going very slow... Early afternoon we decided to go out into the open and try and bolt a few - give the dogs the chance to stretch their legs. You'd never have known Nuala was injured last week, she did very well today, even though she cut her feet in a few places - sometimes shes very keen. Heres a few pics, bit of a mixture today, starting off in the woods, then out in the open the little jill kit we got from Eggy, first time out today, she did well round the woods and back again out in the open, a welcome change a tandem course, catch and retrieve - nuala did give it up to indie though, who is the dominant dog well earned rest Quote Link to post
