what fox calls do you use??

Well I'm still using my Callmaster when I get the rare opertunity to get out. Have had very good success over the past two years with it. I've a ton of manual calls but I think I need to lock the Callmaster in a safe or something because I've gotten rightly spoiled by it

I think you cant beat good old fashioned calling using your hand , Ive done quite a bit of calling this season with my hand and had good results. The best thing about it is you can never forget it unlike other calls as its always with you

Tried loads of calls, mouth and squeeker type, some are good some are rubbish but in my opinion the only one that works well nearly every time (after a bit of practice) is the hand job you all know what i mean sucking air over the palm of your hand, with practice pitch & volume can be altered when required

Must admit, never been able to get the "knack" of calling with my hand, practice makes perfect though.

 

I use the Wam caller mostly, this little Brass disc is the best I've ever used or seen used apart from the hand.

 

As for electronic ones, I've shot over the CallMaster and the Cass Creek, CassCreek was not great, CallMaster not to bad at all. Something to invest in!

That reverse psychology stuff won't work on me! Unless the on/off button breaks, but then I do have a backup caller

callmaster its got the volume and can be turned down .took advice off john galloway off here and aint looked back either i can call very well with my hands but the callmaster is superb.worth every penny ive shot 10 in last two weeks with the callmaster it brings them in from a fair old way

I tend to use the back of my hand or a WAM.

 

WAM can be a bit quiet when the wind is up and your trying for a 300 yrd call.
