Barbus 0
Dont know if there is any in the gowy? Make sure they are the signal crays mate cos you'll get foooked for just touching the normal natives.. Quote Link to post
badoosh 1
try this goto number 3 : interactive disstribution map shows were abouts in the country signal crayfish have been located, zoom in and it gives you detailed maps took mine out of the river goyt in stockport got some nice size ones as well think the temp of the water affects them a bit,so best to go when the weather is a bit warmer all i did with mine was, cheapest tin of cat food from tesco,in like a soft aluminium tin and put it in the trap it self and not in the bait pocket leave for a good 24 hours Edited October 21, 2008 by badoosh Quote Link to post
thepriest 0
Just remmember theres two types the native ones are protected. The american signal crays are fair game. There the ones with the red markings Quote Link to post
nelson1 1
HI Alfie, Here's a few stretches of water to try, TERN, RODEN, TEME, CLUN, ONNY, CERIOG AND THE DEE I hope these help you out, The pic is the type of trap my mate uses, He baits them with rabbit guts in a small net bag hanging inside, leaves them out for 3 days then checks them and rebaits them ( but he said there everywere so just try some local waters if none of the above are ) Goodluck and post your catches with pics look forward to them Edited October 21, 2008 by nelson1 Quote Link to post
