Let's hope they passed on their resistant genes this season then, it's only a good thing, until the mixy mutates again! 90% of young don’t survive to adulthood with another 5% dying of hyperthermia due to the myxomatosis virus This leaves 5% of the next generation (which has been enough to become a pest) The myxomatosis virus is dying out so within the next ten years the above will be 10% doubling the rabbit populations think about warmer winters Quote Link to post

(Until skinflint landowners start spreading stuff like RHD! ) The more the population grows the greater the concern by the landowner, 2 solutions that the govering bodys would come up with is. 1 chemical war on them. 2 promote rabbits for the table by using the likes of tesco (who would then farm it) my cure is put a bounty on them and lets us good folk fix the problem Quote Link to post
