Used to have a red one on my previous lamp,But currently got a blue one ,but only as it came with lamp,,seems to do the job as good as the red one

do you think it lets more or less light through than the red.

Mainly use the red but when im driving round at my work i do a lap with the red them the blue which i find hard to see the rabbits till they move them the green which just looks a bit funny but is fine

Well I ain't been out in any serious way shape or form as of late, but I tried all the shades and finally settled on green  and then I remembered the nights out with my Dad, freezin, holdin the lamp with no feckin filter :big_boss:

I only wish that I could catch as much these days as they did in them days with next to nowt :drink:

Don't use one unless we've got a fox thats been lamped before

He'll be gone like a shot, but slip on the red filter and it usually

gets him to stand just long enough.

Orange filter works well too but you can scan a field so much

quicker without one.

ive just started lamping again after a few years off and i always used a red filter , but now i find it a pain in the arse taking the thing on and off the lamp plus my eyes are a few years older and i cant seem to see any thing with it on , after reading this i realise the problem is not the filter its me . :icon_redface:
