out early this morning

planned to go stalking today so got up at 6 looked out, it was dry clear morning so i said great let's go!!!! loaded up the gear collected danny boy , and headed off,got to my ground at 7.45 all the low land was clear but up on the hills thick fog, you could not see a foot in front of us, we pulled at this gate where you could see for a mile or two down into the valley but not this time fog was bad so we hit for the low land where it was clear one the way down i spotted a handy buck 100 yards in as i pulled in the jeep he ran off about another 100yards and stopped just down at the bottom of a hill i stalk into him got into about 8o yards of him knock him flat with a neck shot,

 

 

we tryed another spot but only saw does at about so i said feck it i hit for the hill again to see if the fog cleared lucky it had, looking down the valley where i glassed three does then out of no where a good buck appeared we stalk him for about 30 mins till i got to see him again got into about yrds on my belly where i took a neck shot,i gutted him and started pulling him back as we talked and messed away i caught something in the corner of my eye about 150 yards i seen a doe then heard a strange noise then a big buck walk out after her i stalk into bout 60 yards put the 243 on my sticks and took another neck shot down he went, it was a good morning out here afew photos cheers

Glad you had the result! The fog was awful here too, did cross my mind what it would be like over there.
