Have a 2.oLtr D I, will it run ok on diesel oil mix

google running cars on veg oil lots of good info i run a 300tdi range rover on straight oil but can be a pain when its cold there are various kits you can get to self fit or be fitted i put 1 together by buying it all of fleabay and never fitted it thinking of doing it before winter comes it cost roughly £150 the kits to be fitted are about £500 but look around and see what others have done i get my oil from bookers £17.99 per 20l with the price of fuel coming down way up the pros and cons you can use waste oil but it needs to be filtered and if it has cooked processed food will have salts in it and animal fats in it if you need help with a kit i will give you a list of what i bought

Thanks Alan, i will do a bit more research, the oil i have been offered is clean omega do you think this would be suitable to mix with deisel and what persentage..

hi keith as long as it pure oil not a mix the only 1 i can think of is crisp and dry and some canola oils which is rape seed but pure rape seed works well the oil i am using at the mo is soya oil hope this helps
