Webley Tracker

Recommended Posts

Have an old Webley tracker, must be getting on 20 year old and i am thinking of giving it a bit of a revamp.

Have had a browse around some other sites and although there seems to be a bit of stuff about them out there i am still a bit miffed.

Fist off i want to fit a gas ram to try and get it running a bit smoother and quieter, came across theoben gas rams but they don,t seem to be available anywhere, read a post elsewhere and some guy reckoned they stopped making them, anyone know anything about this ?

Secondly i wouldn't mind fitting a silencer, read a bit about the webley pro system and it would seem it hardly makes any difference, found a manufacture "portlandbill" and they seem to make a vast range to cover most rifles, anyone dealt with them or running their gear then your input is much appreciated.

If i could get this up and running then its gonna save me a few quid which will keep the missus happy, would love to buy something new but cash is tight at the moment.

Hope some of you guys can help me out.

I wouldn't bother with the gas ram, i had a webley vulcan with one fitted totally ruined a good gun, not to mention the scopes it smashed as well. Stick with a good quality spring (not oxspring)

Thats why thousands were sold then was it??? Probably had the wrong one fitted never seen one ruin a gun yet only improve them lightning is a classic example..Still do a HL discount
