what woud this breeding be like for the rabbits will be working with ferrets new to this and dont want to rush into it

 

 

I've heard they're a good all rounder!! there was a post on here the other day of a pic of a lovely looking dog with a load of rabbits he caught!!

saw a couple of litter mates of this breeding this summer, looked the part, but both stood about 262 TTS at about 8 months so size might be an issue. They looked good alrounders though and I would certainly of liked to own one of them.

Av been told they are sound mate av got a bitch beddy whipp greyhound 1yr old am bringing on this season.

Bedxgrey/Bedxwhipp x Deer/whipp...considering his young years and missing a fair bit of last season through injury this dogs doing not too bad for me,but i will have a better idea at the end of this season.

the sire of my pup is this cross,hes already hunting up and marking burrows,hes only five months so it will be a while yet before i let him do any lamping,but hes coming on well mooching about the bushes with the older dog,plenty of brains and very obedient for his age.will do rabbits no bother in another 3 or 4 months,already had a few kills off the ferrets and retrieved to hand,bit reluctant to let it go,but that will come.

this is my 12month old bitch 24"bedlington greyhound x deerhound whippet shes coming on a treat shes good on the rabbits shes flushed a roe and flushed and retreived a leveret and a hare once shot,im sure youl have no problem with that dog,the breedings there to do most things.
