nicksdogs 0
Hi i got told by a freind that a bedlington cross whippet was one of the best corsses you could get. Would it be able to live in a kennel outside but somewhere warm to sleep as I am being taught by a freind who had the fasted whippet in the country 30 years ago. Hes going to take me on a premission i found which is over run with rabbits and there allways out in any weather. nick Quote Link to post

parksie 2
Not meaning to highjack your thread here mate but I've got a 1st cross whippet beddy, coming up to 8mnths old, done a bit of fun lure coursing, whens the best time to start him on live stuff? Quote Link to post
Brummy 9
Like most dogs if your out mooching with them enough they'll enter on their own with no bother. My beddy whippet bitch is 6 now and she's always been hunt mad and finds like a hound and is better than any spaniel in cover. Priceless !! Quote Link to post
bill88 6
Can only echo what Brummy says.My beddiexwhippet is 19 months old now and this will be her first season on the lamp, but she's been coming out with the ferts since she was 6 months old and catching bolters not long afterwards.Very quiet and good natured little dog,but if it kicks off she wont back down, and is fearless in the field. As a ferreting and general mooching dog you wont go wrong with a beddiexwhippet, great nose, courageous and deceptively fast, but on bigger fields there are far more capable crosse's.HTH's Quote Link to post

Brummy 9
Oh and watch you don't let it near ANY cats. Mine is lethal with them to the point where she has a psychotic hatred of all felines ! Quote Link to post
