A mixed bag!

Went out with the newly sprayed falcon today after a quick zeroing session. Had a wander around the same bit of permission as last time. After setting up a feeder as a bait station for squirrels, pigeons etc. i had a stroll around and and a good bit of shooting. Three rabbits, two pigeons and a squirrel! i should have had a magpie too but fluffed the shot and another squirrel, i could see his head only poked round the trunk, took the shot, heard the hit but when i went to pick him up there was nothing but some blood flecks on the pallet stack below i hate it when things are wounded and cant see how he was hit but not killed. i was particularly pleased with the pigeons though, both head shot from the shoulder Yet again no pics as still not replaced the nicked camera and the pic i tried to take on my phone disappeared i hate technology

I completely understand your frustration with possible injuries on the quarry and I'm sure it's happened to all of us here. I enjoyed the read Tyla and thanks for sharing it with us here, oh and good luck with getting a new camera and I hope the b*****d who stole it gets run over or something like that I hate bloody thieves bigtime they should throw the key away on them.....

nice one mate its always nice to have a mixed bag and as timelord said we all have our bad moments i have had enough to share with the whole world lol it make you see your backside haha

Cheers mate, the worst thing was that it was nicked from the van while i was up the scaffolding so it must be someone on the same site. if i find out who he will wish he had been run over, and then i will want all my shooting pics back that were on it!

Ha Ha!!! My wonderful other half has just found the picture on my phone! For reasons i dont understand it had saved it in a wierd place
