trappa 518
What a carry on i had on monday. About 6'oclock at night the other half decides she wants to go shopping so we all gets in her car (a newish mini) and goes to the local retail park. Coming back at 9 or so she stops at a petrol station for milk. While its stood i smell burning so i get out and look under the bonnet, sure enough smoke so i gets the kids out and we discuss calling the AA. At this we turns around and the car has set alight! Had to phone the fire brigade out to put it out, i felt a right tit but the kids loved it! The fire brigade reckoned 2 more minutes and it would have gone up proper!! Anyway the AA towed us home and we are now down to one vehicle, which is a right pain as she works nearly full time so im without a car now as she has comandeered mine, even though ive plenty on. Waiting to find out whether its fixable or a write off now, but im glad we got out when we did. If we hadnt stopped it might have set alight while driving it.
