These type of programs piss me off because everytime they talk about people out with there dogs they come up will bull shit about "these people are very violent people and usually involved in drugs and dog fighting also". never telling the truth or the full law so people sitting at home watching these programs have the impression that you cannot work a lurcher full stop. its about time we seen programs that are pro hunting and talk about the tradition of this country and hunting in the right way, and its about time these pigs f**k off and do somethink usefull for a change instead of harrising people for catching a couple rabbits.

I was watching the news on BBC this morning and noticed that East Yorkshiore Police had been having a field day with gang of lads poaching / coursing,...where it mentioned that hares deer and badgers were being rattled.

With the story was some lovely incriminating video footage from 'Airwolf' of a dead deer and half a dozen lads on infra red mooching through some fields.

Whilst am I not advocating the above - I think its serves as a fair warning.......the brain washed public will be even more alerted, and will on the blower to pc as soon as they see a lamp on - which does nothing to help those people like me who take legal quarry on permission.

not that there's anthing to hide - -but we all can do without the agro and media attention

Be careful :icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek:

chears for heads up :good::good:

i won't be put upon, not even by the govt. i don't do it to anyone else, so i don't a see a reason to tolerate it being done to me. you hane no obligation to follow an immoral law. a law that limits a man from from injuring his neighbor is a moral law. a law that limits a man's freedom to do as he see fit so lang as he does no injury to his neighbor is an immoral law. attack me for violating an immoral laws and i'll attack you back until you deced attacking me & mine is no longer a good idea. there's nothing about that that a man should be ashamed of, and i'm not. i'm not just talking about running a dog or two here & there. there's a right many immoral laws being passed and as i get older my tolerance & patience is lessening.

i agree MOST cops (like my BIL) start out wanting to help folks. they spend so much time dealing w/ screwed up people they start to view everyone as a criminal waiting to be caught & then start crossing the line themselves. if they haven't the good sense to quit at that point then they earn what comes after. i've a good respect for those who do the job the right way and none at all for those who don't.

Theres a nice patch i like to walk on down by the severn,, By the Powerstation,, Have permission for rabbits on a bit of it ,, but ive found things more intresting over the fence,,No matter what time i go out for a look whether its just as its dark or if its the early hours of the morning,, You can garantee the police will stop you :( Last time i was out a few weeks ago,, I had just got out the vehicle and making through a hedge into the land of the big rabbits and, Noticedheadlgihts come round the corner so i sat tight in the hedge,, The vehicle stops by where i had parked mine and i here doors open and shut,, I though to myslef Pikeys or antis or something,, So went and had a look ,, It was a police 4X4 and they where looking through my windows with a torch,, So i ask them what they are doing? Two coppers with two big guns in there arms,Power station patroll i can only think,,But they where sound as a pound,, Asked me if i had insurance on my car, where i lived and asked me if i was lamping and said have a good night and of they went,, Did not even ask if i was allowed to be here ,, But i the same two blokes and afew different police every time i go down there and they are fine,, and do not give me any grief.
