greg64 2,837
I think the police do a good job, well around my way, lets face it when we need them we phone them!!! Police will always be slagged off, this was due back to the 's pre PACE. Batons were used much more freely on members of the public who stepped out of line! and the media only printing off bad news about them, still nothing has changed! They are in a very stressfull job which isn't easy, they are under paid, under staffed. Could you do their job? Bet there are a few on here who would, or even have tried to get into the police force, or who are in the police force! The police you see out in the rurals are RURAL POLICE OFFICERS. They do not go into the town unless needed. Their patch is the rurals, so when you say "GO AND CATCH PROPER CRIMINALS, LEAVE US ALONE RUNNING OUR DOGS" Well they are DOING JUST THAT, pattrolling their patch hopeing to catch someone!! or maybe not, due to the paperwork involved lol...... Stay Safe.......... i got buzzed by a helicopter while out lamping,it hovered about 40 feet above my head, with its spotlight on me,then f#cked off,by which time so had my dog took me two hours to find the f#cker ,not amusedican tell you Quote Link to post
artic 595
under paid lol what a joke..fireman are under paid but coppers.. stressfull thats bollocks they love it, Thats it though in it how do they choose a job they complain about so much underpaid, stressfull, Don,t we all go threw that day in day out They know at the start what there getting themselves into before they even start the job oh not forgetting there free entry pass or discounts at the local "pie shop" I was working onece in a petrol station on nights and 2 plods came to the window an asked to be let in obviousley I refused and told them no am responsable for this place not you!! They then told me about there little tickle they had here about coffee and snacks which was agreed by my boss who wouldnt be too happy if I didnt let let them in I said sound see him about it ya still not getting in lol The next day I told my gaffer an he said good feck em there always trying it on with the new staff. Its the goverment who make the rules up, and makes all the changes. The police just POLICE them. The police, teachers and firemen are all under paid, very under paid! Need to see a change here for education which will make a difference in society. Get rid of the the Labour party to begin with! Waste of space, liars etc........ Tackle problems right from the start, heavy punishment needed too!! Prisons are a joke in this country! Quote Link to post

littletimmy 71
Growing up round here, unless you live a VERY VERY sheltered life you quickly learn the police are not out to help you. In 18 years i must have been stopped atleast 100 times. I' got the shit kicked out of me when i was 15 by one of them and for what? Running away so i didnt get arrested for something i didnt do. I never succeed You quickly learn not to get caught weather you did it or not. I got a fine early this year because the bulb in my car had gone. Pathetic. Well how the f**k am i ment to know if a bulb goes when im driving? I got 3 points a couple of month later for "speeding". More a case of there was two of them as witness and they recognized me from when there mate kicked the shit out of me. Being pulled driving simply for being young is pathetic and more reason should be needed. When i was about 14 got into a bit of trouble with some lads, about 40 of them showed up outside my house, went out on my own, one of the nabours must of phoned police, they came turned round and f****d off with out so much as a word. Pure scum! Yet when the nabours dog attacked mine a few weeks ago an it felt a good booted to the face to make sure it didnt get to my dog, they was at my door withing two hours. f**k me i was the victim here and im the one with them knocking at my door. And then got quizzed by the ginger little c**t about hunting. I must of been stopped 30 times in the last year, nothing has ever came of any incident of them stopping me but they still persist in harassing me And they never fail to inform me that hunting with dogs is illegal. mackem 26,619
Four years ago my best friend was walking home from his girlfriends, only half a mile, its 2am,he is a big guy, around 6' 4" or 6' 5",and maybe 19 or 20 stone,he heard the purr of the car slow down and keep pace with him, looked over, fair enough, they asked him civilly at first "Can we have a word" equally fairly he answered "No you cant" and kept on walking, seconds later they attacked him from behind, knocked him to the ground with asps, slapped the cuffs on and he is charged with resisting arrest,he has no reason to lie to me,I believe his version of events 100%,he was attacked without provocation probably because his stature and looks intimidated the coppers and they didnt know how else to handle a guy who refused to chat to them at 2am far from the station Quote Link to post

fireman 10,917
Police car pulls into a hippy site at 2 in the morning with lights going and sirens blasting just to act the c**t and pulls off with officers laughing and giving it the hippy w***ers bit, this went on for 2 nights on the 3rd the hippy's were ready. As soon as the old bill pulled into the site the logs and gass bottles went across the gates, they ragged round shouting as they had been doing the last couple of nights.Well the shock on their faces when confronted with the blocked gate and a group of lads with covered faces and sticks,to say the car was a mess and so were they is slighty understated. They managed to get themselves off the site with the help of a few kicks up the arse, after a while rather a lot of back up arrived, but when the chief plod was told the reason he gave the 2 pc's(proper c**ts)a right ear bashing in front of us all and promised us his officers would leave us alone,he then asked for his wrecked car back.We told him come back when it's cooled down as it's only just gone out.lol.Don't allways have it there own way.
