Sounds like shes off to a flyer. I have a bitch of the same breeding but she only made 21" cant complain about her she seldom misses a rabbit ijust expected her to be a littlr bigger. What height is your bitch to the shoulder.

Thanks

Gary

she is 20" gary

i was thinking maybe a 23 dog, when i bought her. but im thinking i will be lucky for another inch.

so sounds very similar to yours .i suppose the bitch is always the smaller

but i am happy she has some speed

and impressed with a first run .if she gets to 21 i will be happy mate

cos shes here for as long as shes breathing

thats it stomp away well worth it in long run

i did it .if your keeping the dog for the long haul

gotto be worth the stress ah

exactly what i thought with mine .

he started out straight back to hand ,then ran him with a mates dog

and thats when i got the problems .

you know im sure thats what causd mine to stop

i got my terrier an took them both ferreting

lurcher caugt a bolter an terrier went after her

nipped that in the bud

but think thats the reason why she stopped retreiving

yes thats the one

they do it out of a leadership i think

top dog pack leader.

mine now if i run 2 up he will pinch the rabbit

from the bitch .but then come back so

he has got the idea im leading now .

ive seen a lot of young dogs go like that.

my mates did same he was trying to train the 2 .they were doing same

now he runs them seprate and did as ive done and they have come good too.

hard to train 2 at once i think ,they need a good foundation first :victory:
