davyt63 1,845
hi every one this is an idea i had for keeping the skirt on the pellets from getting damaged when out in the field as we all no damaged skirts leads to inaccuracy some standard straws and a rolling tobacco filter cut the straw to 70mm and a filter in half then load 10 pellets in to the straw for protection using the filter at either end as a cushion also it is a good count for how many pellets you have put through ready for a clean i cut 20 straws 10 pellets to a straw = 200 pellets then once they have been used i clean my AAS410 out . your views appreciated and how you protect your pellets from skirt damage regards Davy Quote Link to post

Timelord 0
thanks timelordhow do you protect yours? I only use a foam lined leather pouch and if I see deformed pellets then I just discard them. The pouch is very soft on the inside and obviously does not rattle like tins do. After all we spend loads of effort sneaking up on our quarry and if they hear the rattle of pellets in your tin then they'll be off Quote Link to post

With just that little investment you could protect thousands of pellets Quote Link to post
