GarryN 5
I thought brain deads were going to be banned from posting if they had nothing constructive to add to a thread. No wonder we lose good dog people from this site when a dog boy bad has no BRAIN. Labs have the power of all the gundogs and that is why shooters like them for the versitility they have against the head strong Spaniels of the shooting world. One little comment a Lab will never out run a Bedlington and will not have the turning ability or the tenacity of the Bedlington. Oh yeh LONG LIVE THE WHIPPET>>>>>>> Quote Link to post

Caught and killed two foxes in daytime and used to regularly catch rabbits. i discouraged him as hunting for himself made him a bit wayward for picking up but im sure he could have fathered some good first crosses on the right grew bitch. I LIKE THE SOUND OF YOUR LAB. THAT'S THE KIND OF STAMP I HAD IN MIND. HE SOUNDED REALLY USEFUL. He was a diamond, died a couple years back at 15. Never lost the desire to go and it was heart breaking when there was shooting locally and he'd be begging to be let out even when he was old and ill. Now i look back on it i think i kept him going 6 mths too long but its hard to know at the time. He was a terror for escaping and jumped on most of the bitches in the village whenever they were in season, he even snuck into our local and got tied to their alsation in the public bar That took some living down i can tell you! its just a shame he never got onto a greyhound! He was the dog of a lifetime, a real character Quote Link to post
