had a good morning out with my young black dog he worked well.tried a bank with a few earths on it got a dig from this bank the last few seasons.anyway all the rain most have had the foxs to ground.came to the frist earth know by the dog there was something at home entered the dog he was off baying blocked the other holes let him settle got a mark of 1.4 sarted to dig broke threw dog working the fox was happy with the terrier.moved up 100 yards up the ditch terrier was hopping on the lead let him off let him settle got a mark of 1.2 got true dog up on fox.these earth were as dry as a cork and all roots and rock.had a good morning dug two vixens.had the camrea so took a few pictures.

Good start to the season,better than mine was out myself on sat tried a big place with my young bitch,maybe to big,she was in quite a while before she settled in one place so i dug down 1.8,when i broke through she was there but nothing with her so i let her go again in same sett and again 1.8 got down and she was there with nothing bit pissed of so back filled and went home,i know she is only young and learning so im going to try and get some shallow digs,but this permission ive got seems to be big places and the only two dogs ive got in is this bitch and a younger dog who is still a bit like a pup in his ways,the bitch bolted one the other week and i dug another the week before so god knows what was going on,but you can only try i suppose.
