Sorley x 32
Six weeks if at all possible. Key period of pups life is from 6 - 12 weeks after that well the foundations are laid.
lurchergrrl 1,441
I like to get mine at 7-8 weeks. For the same reasons as mentioned above. Both my lurchers came to me late, one at 12 weeks and one at 10 weeks. The first one (who has since died) loved me to bits and was grafted to me from day one. The second one has taken some cajoling to convince her I'm the best thing in her life My grey came to me at 14 months and still regards me with a level of suspicion, but I suspect that's just because she's one of those dogs who's not wired right. She a weird one. But my other dogs, over the years, have always come at that early stage and it definately makes a big difference.
Simoman 110
Between 6-8 weeks, I wouldn't take one earlier and really wouldn't want one any older................
