Brooke 0
i shoot 2 or 3 times a week and have until lately been taking all my rabbits etc to the local game dealer, now hes shut down i find myself having to go to another dealer who gives very little for them. now i dont shoot for profit but now we are getting what works out less than 50p for clean shot rabbits. after diesel for the nights shooting and another 50 mile round trip the next morning to drop them off this is not even break even. at the minute all the farms i shoot on are complaining about the rabbits, but if i stop shooting them i will lose the pigeon shooting and stalking i have. any ideas?. alimac 882
at this time of year you will with out fail have game dealers travelling the lenght and breth of the land to pick up pheashants.... surely there some round you
labsnlurchers 39
average price that a game dealer sell a rabbit to a restraunt or hotel is bout £3.50, just undercut em mate, the one that offered me 75p would av been making £2.25 for doing jack so just speak to the chefs direct, word soon gets out and then youll have a boomin business
