Rolfe 2
Tracey..........they always look bad to start with.......especially on Whippet/Lurcher types but they soon heal and it will shrink to nearly invisible after a short while. Rolfe.

DevoidOvTalent 0
Thanks for that the bandage is off i just felt i had to keep it clean can you all tell i wanted to be a nurse not a cook :tongue2: Take a small t-shirt, put it on the dog, cut it up the back so you have two flaps (not all the way to the neck), then tie the flaps tight. Keeps the shirt on the dog. The shirt will keep most dirt out of the wound, and keep the dog from accidentally catching it with a foot when scratching, but it's loose enough that air can circulate well and you can peek in and check how it's doing. Also easily removeable for cleaning or putting on ointments or sprays.
