hows the big dog willie after flushing the two row and hare is he come round now , some day three brown hares flushed with my dog and two roe and ahare with yours the keeper says come back in a week or two he enjoyed his lunch you bought him, got more land today ,going to have a small comp for a few good lads lasses just flushing hares tho , counted thirty last nite on winter wheat and stubble c u later veni burgers for tea , away the nite a gain halal meat

the big yin flushed 4 the day,,,,just where they rise from when the 2 dogs r spread about,,not many rised near him but if they did would not get to far...

A fair while Wullie,i don't how long he got either so i wouldn't have a clue when he'll be free to roam the streets again .From what i gather Wullie too much of the steroids :showoff: ...he's like a fizzy bottle of pop at the best of times,so when you open the bottle there's gonna be a big mess .Cheers Andy

Good bag there I was on that bit during the week and got 12 and 2 rabbits that might be whats shifting them on? Theres a really haggy bit at the top thats full of them, but its bad running for an adult dog never mind a pup. Once this weather changes they will go white, thats when the real fun begins cos you can spot them trying to hide and the dogs can spot them from a good distance away as well

 

Can the hares up there actually run in that stuff, not much of a test for your dogs is it, try running some real hares see how many you catch.

yeh ok mate, youd be better off with a spaniel up your end in all that heather, probably catch more than the lurchers as theyve got more nose.
