kirstysdad 827
said you had easy dig with it first did it take any stick and did you run another dog in the big place to see what was going on at 4 years old should be experienced enough have seen this before in very young dogs that dont know what to do but this sounds like a jacker as you had a easy dig first then dog did not want to know sad tale but it sometimes happens Quote Link to post
top terrierman 90
i have only seen this in a young dog once.he didnt want anymore so started pricking about. Quote Link to post
BBB 7
yeah a mate of mine bought a dog some year's back without trial. the dog was well marked up so he just bought it anyway we took it out .dug a fox with my dog then showed the dog in question the fox it was straight in nee bother. well my mate was happy. so we moved on to check somemore eath's my dog said no .this other dog went in going off it's nut .my dog was not interested at all and he was a good proven dog. but my mate wanted to dig to this dog. soooo we dug down the said dog broke threw nothing there dog going crazy again my dog said no . pulled this other dog out back filled went home. my mate put it down to the excitement fox we had earlier.. shortly after we were out again and this dog done the same at any hole it seen . last i seen of it .it had gone to ground going off it's nut as usual . we got a mark 14 foot , my mate said fock it so we walked off and left the piece of shit to it. i dont know why the dog did it as face to face with a fox the dog was game as fock.. BBB 7
you are spot on there TT. but some folk like my mate have no time, patience or know how on entereing a young dog so they buy other folk's reject's i alway's enter my own that way they get no bad habit's. when it comes down to it the chances of buying a good sound made dog are slim. and to be honest most people looking to buy made dog's are not into terriers for long anyway . they move on to the merry go round of . lurcher's, pigeon's, canaries, horses ect,ect.. dev 227
this happened a mate s dog, he was getting on and just didnt want it anymore, same thing, he was digging when he had room to push on, shame but looks like the dog just dont want it anymore Quote Link to post
tigerdog2 8
a never bought older terriers always from pup so if there faults you know who to blame, also its not always the dogs fault how he ended up like this theres a lot of low quality would be terrier men out there, its surprising after 28 years digging how many folk i have met in the digging job only to walk out with them and realize all i hed been hearing was not true !! If you're saying that you left the dog to its own devices with no intention of recovering it, no matter wether it was good or bad, you & ur mate are a complete pair of arseholes. Leave a dog if its no good? You shouldn't even keep f*****g dogs u prick Quote Link to post

If my mate left his dog I'd punch the c**t & still dig it out myself. You are a f*****g lowlife for leaving that dog to ground. Shoot the dog fair enough but leaving it shows what kind of dogmen you were. If you're trying to justify your actions ur an idiot & any respectable terrierman would tell you that Quote Link to post
