I wonder who is the joke....

I'm looking out for everyone, so don't think I do things for no reason... We have in the past had members images posted in local newspapers and images stolen for use on anti-snaring sites...which I'm sure yours would be lifted and used also.. So I removed it, if you had shown the image with it removed, then I would of left it..

If you fancy using some of your own time and starting a forum up were everyones happy 100% of the time... go for it.

That picture was 100% legal...

Butch

No one is saying it wasn't LB :) The problem was the positioning of the fox in the overall photo. Say, if the fox had been removed from the snare and photographed then in my opinion it would have been left. I know, I know, it's annoying as f**k. But the reason it got took down was a photograph can be copied from here and put up in a different context, such as on an anti snaring website, elsewhere.

I've seen photographs of foxes that have been shot, on this site by our members, turn up elsewhere with captions that read the poor animal had been beaten to death with a pick axe handle ect. That was a total LIE, but to someone who doesn't know any better a fox with a gunshot wound is the same as a fox opened up with an implement. If that particular photo had a rifle in it then they would not have been able to use it in a way that's extremely bad for us lot.

I've plenty of photos, not on my computer mind you as I don't think that's safe either, that I'd love to post. But I don't because I know they can be used against hunting. Like your photo, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way I came about taking them, but I know how they could be portrayed elsewhere

We need to see the situation from both sides of the fence ;)
