classic ones got to be shooting moon lit phesants with 410 or airrifle?

lamping phesent in trees is efective pop them with rifle and dog to pickup or jump them quick lol :whistling: and i used to do it because half the reason i cannot get most my permision is because of these shooting hoots and it winds me up.

you dont need a lamp to shoot phessis at night  probably scare more than ye shoot matey

well ive never seen one scared only on the floor and in my bag and alot less shot in them than these fecking nobs on a sunday morning walk round with popping into them.all money thats all pheasent is about more barbaric than any hunting i no.and they ban a run on a hare with your dog its them.but money rules the roost ah

When i was young times were hard so my sister used to plague the local fields with a stoat which had a flare tied to its back and catch roe deer. The stoat used to out run them across the stubbles then pull them and finish it with a quick bite to the back of the neck. Much the same as a wild stoat would do to a rabbit. The stoat who was called stoat even caught a mature fallow buck once in the rut. The same stoat climbed up trees at night and nailed pheasants before retrieving them live to hand.

Nothing special just a couple of methods my family have used over the years.

Joe taught me an incredible method I never heard before nor since, forget Jeyes Fluid in water, maybe Joe will tell you about the fish-laxatives they use on trout farms
