LAMPING AT WORLDS END!!

Recommended Posts

well last night was if you were oop north was a good lamping night dark and wild except the driving rain was far from ideal but you cant catch nothing sitting at home ,so off we went with woodga tip and flyte loaded up the jeep and set about the 40 mile trip to worlds end (it felt like that anyway) as you can see from the photos the fields were like running rivers in places and there were some deep mud holes about :whistling: just waiting to be stud in . clouds whistled by the 3 quarter moon and we set off to reduce the coney population by a few ,colins dogs worked well and as always made me proud to see them work ,they ran some fine courses with a few that will stick in the mind for time to come .by the first drop we had 15 again tip providing the lions share flyte still filled the bag too,a nice black one which i thought was on the other side of the pig mesh fence came un stuck as woodga slipped flyte before i could say it on the other side a fine run down the side and bang he was in the bag ,we glassed :icon_eek: only few last night even tho the weather was wild i thought we would of seen more ,but i would not rather be anywhere else last night clothes still wet in the jeep heres a few photos from last night and no its not snow it s the rain look how wet woodga is enjoy !!!

i was wet "ha "thats the understatement of the year i can honestly say thats the wettest those fields have been since iv been going up there , feilds were like mini lakes :o little islands sticking up with a rabbit sitting on it how the rabbits got there without getting wet god knows we had some good double catches plodging about on fields that had streams running through them the end result was made all the more respectable due to the conditions a pleasure to watch the dogs do their thing it will be a good few weeks before this land drys  as rob said we travelled back in tea shirt and boxers everything else was off right down to the socks :11: the things we do for the love of the sport does that make us mad or devoted :hmm: or a bit of both :clapper: good hunting lads

Wasn't that cold up here mate; me and LDR had a look out local and we had everything from gale force wind to dead calm; driving rain to mist and then clear, all in a couple of hours !!
