Got 24 magpies and a hooded crow in my Larsen trap, just on a few acres on my own farm :yes: Once I discovered this way of catching them, I don't think I'll be wasting my time shooting them anymore! Trap works 24/7. You just need to ensure that you keep the call bird well fed, well sheltered and that it has fresh water available to it all the time.

 

JohnB on here does a good book with various trap plans, plans are also available on this site and elsewhere on the internet.

set up a nice comfy hide get a rabbit open its guts up on the floor so thy can see it tidy wait for em to come in a crow decoy about ten foot away from the rabbit does well it gives em a little confidence to come in nicely....
