Tyla 3,179
Anyone tried the Frosts Mora high carbon fixed blade knife? Seems a tough cookie, sharp as a razor, and cheap at well under a tenner. They are bloody good, i cut the hideous plastic handle off mine and replaced it but im sure it would work just as well if i hadnt. Good carbon steel for me every time! Quote Link to post

edjay 0
I always use this coz it makes me feel like a klingon warrior :11:I hope you take care if you try to rid yourself of cling-ons with it! Has it got a laser as well? Quote Link to post
edjay 0
Best, cheapest, lightest and sharpest knifes for hunting use at the moment IMO. I always have a Nr8 in my pocket http://www.opinel.com/rubrique-Carbon_stee...0101010000.html I like the Opinels too for fishing - Just out of interset; what do you do if they take in too much water and get really hard to open? I mean, is there a lubricant you use? Quote Link to post
edjay 0
Mind you the blades not as big as it was. Now that is what I call "love of a favoured tool." - I think I manged about 5 years with one before it went walkies. Quote Link to post
Ricky-N.p.p 0
i reacently bought an enzo blade and was very impressed with it, i'v cut several feather sticks with it sharpened hazel pegs, gutted fish and rabbits and its still as sharp as the day i got it, granted its a tad more expensive,i think it was arounf the 50quid mark including postage but a quality all round knive http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc165/r...seatrout011.jpg Quote Link to post
zebedee321 0
I think buying knives in the UK is a complete rip off have a look HERE... I have all of them because the dollar is so weak against the pound have you got shares in the company or something?! to be honest, with knives you usually get what you pay for...i used to buy cheap knives. only thing was,i spent more time sharpening them than using them! i have a colt ridgerunner now,had it a while and not sharpened it yet.still sharp as a razor. i have to agree with Pitindall on this aone also half of the knives on this page are illegal in the uk even with just cause ie hunting. better off with a whitby with sheave for £15 from any gun shop.
