One of my Lurchers, had a real do this week. Last sat night he came face to face with his first chicken muncher!! Then yesterday he caught 2 squirrels, 3 rabbits, and 2 pheasants...... He is going to be a real pot filler....(and he is only ten and a half months old)

 

Whats the best way to treat and cook and eat the pheasant???

casserole it, skin it and just put it in a slower cooker like you would a chicken

if you dont hang it then you aint getting the true flavour,an it goes green inside if you hang it to long or in the wrong conditions
