just got home after a days fishing in south wales, and to say it was poor would be a understatement.

two eels and a four inch whiting is all i had to show for eight hours on the mud,on you could have no fish but it cost me a fair bit and 130 miles to get there so all in all a shit day out but the weather was nice .

this is how my day was spoilt.

 

went to a place called magor near newport,and there was rods everywhere,got the bones out and seen some free space a mile or so away and not being one to stay with the crowds off i set.

peace no one near me and spent hours throwing money into the sea with no fish to show for it . anyway i called it a day and made my way back to the sea wall across the mud and salt mash only to be greeted by a big farmer twat on his quad.

how do i said . but no reply grumpy twat i thought and then the fat twat came alive.

you have no wright to fish here boy he says why i said. i own this beach, f**k off said i no one owns the ground from high down to low, i haven't even crossed your land as the earth runs along the sea wall.

any way that upset the fat man so he goes on about confiscating my tackle ok i said but first let me show you my filleting knife i have in my box and may the best man wine.

anyway it don't end there abuse and threats off him and i had enough. only when i told him if he don't f**k off he'll find all his cows dead in the morning did he drive away.

 

so what is the law between high and low tide. is there next week ,in the same place to prove a point,and a box of ssg's in case

there is a right of way officer at every council , i had a similar augment with a farmer, the crown own the land to to high water mark but as you know this changes with every tide , he has no right to threaten you , or take your tackle in fact if he come at you on a quad bike you will find the local by law prohibits vehicles using the for shore , but ad go for digging the fat twat in the face me self
