mubz2cool 4
hi all, just need some advise on shooting geese. I have a bit of land which is not my mormal goose shooting spot and the land holds a harvested potatoe field which still has plenty of potatoes left. I have seen geese flying over in the evenings and my question is will they feed on this field in the mornings? and do they feed on potatoes? any advice tips please thank you

Geese love potatoes especially after wet weather followed by frost this bursts the potatoe open. Normally later in the season, and followed by feeding on grass fields. Here around Loch Leven where I am a BASC registered goose guide the furrows seem very deep and easily fill up with water, the geese paddle up and down them feeding Goose shit is brown if you see any on grass there will be a potatoe field nearby.
