Yeah from what i have heard it’s a mixed bag with the RSPCA.

My experience has been good; one of the houses near me had a young lab which he kept outside with no shelter about 23 hours of the day it seems.

This was last winter and it was dreadful rain and bitter cold, anyway after hearing the dog keep howling i phoned the RCPCA and the next day they paid them a visit, not sure if i was the only caller, or that they really gave them a bollocking but about a month later the dog went somewhere else as the guy said "they couldn’t handle it", and “didn’t have time to walk itâ€.

Strange that really, when he doesn’t work t he scrite, F*ckin idiot cant control his kinds let alone a dog.

Yes the RSPCA probably do make mistakes but I cannot fault their intentions, it’s just like many of the other charity/services, horribly underfunded and horribly inconsistent.

Its not that they're under funded its the type of people that are attracted to these jobs, I'm all for stopping animal cruelty but they dont distinguish between cruelty and working dogs, frustrated policemen the lot of them....TV and f*****g Rolf Harris have a lot to answer for.

Why allow them access to your premises, or allow them to inspect your kennels under thes circumstances it seems you invited them in :icon_eek: If they had a warrant and accompanied by a police officer thats a very different matter, None of us should interact with these people volountarily as for the ticket it states it is'nt a statuary notice therefore its only use is for wiping your arse :whistling:

Would any of us allow a full time employee of any other charity carte blanche to walk round their home inspecting thing and making comment? I don't fecking think so! I certainly would'nt let it happen :whistling: thats why I have a £100,000 legal cover in my SACs membership to defend me against this sort of shit,

just to reiterate never!! ever! co-operate with these people cos' most folk are not aware of their rights and 9 times out of 10 dig a big hole for themselves

Load of wankers. My kids school, done a fund-raiser for them, at this years harvest service. The school wanted my daughter to bring in 6 apples. Other kids in her class were asked to bring in bunches of bananas, pears or what ever, and they were going to make up hampers & raffle them off with the money going to them.

Now, when I was at school, you brought in ANY item of food, and the food would be distributed amongst the local old folks homes, or some other group of needy locals.

I told my wife that I wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of giving them what they wanted, so we sent her with one poxy bruised banana!

they are a bunch of pricks if you ask me. On my uncles dairy farm they had a cow out in the field with really bad milk fever and needed putting down. they rung the slaughtmen and they say they will do it in 24 hours. the RSPCA trurned up and mouthed off and said that he needed to have it shot before the evening else they would see him in court!!! he swore at the quite bad and sed they could pay the f*****g vet to do it. which they did.

a while back now one of my mares got stuck in the fence and badly cut her leg, the vet operated and prescribed pain killer and antibiotics. she was in the field with a big bright blue bandage on. went down the yard on the night and there was an rspca letter on the internal gate, so the 'officer' had obviously been on our land. Phoned the solicitor and was advised that the 'officer' was NOT permitted to enter the field without my say so. Straight on the phone and told her in no uncertain terms exactly what i would do if i found her there again, not heard from since!
