Guest Eamon.Mc
Don't wanna piss on your fire with the young uns being so young. But saying that they are from the right stock so they SHOULD make the grade is jumping the gun. Just because the pups come from working stock, does'nt guarantee that they will turn out workers. As hue says bringing 2 on at the 1 time you've give yourself a bit to do. There's failures in all litters no matter how good the breeding is. best of luck with them. Quote Link to post

Well if you think about it mate when someone says SHOULD it means they might but there is a chance they might not. From saying SHOULD i didnt mean they defently will make the grade I didnt say that did I. Obviously there is always going to be dogs out of a litter that are not going to make the grade but surely getting a dog out of the right stuff is the best start to getting a good dog. I will put alot of time and effort in to both the pups I know alot of it is going to be down to me aswell and it going to be hard but am up for it. Regards Ben Quote Link to post

FLATTOP 4,538
I agree with the slow approach took my 13 month old patterdale bitch on a few digs lately she entered after a bit of encouragement and run the holes but we put an experienced dog in and he soon had the game in a very tight spot on one dig,i think the more you put in the more you get out mixed with good breeding you should not go wrong . All the best Bill. Quote Link to post
