witch gun?

what gun would be good for a starter:

 

1.it has to be a spring gun

2.my budget is £200-300

3.it has to be able to kill rabbits,woodpigeons and suchalike at 30 yrds

4. it has to be short and light enough for a 13 year old to use

5.it has to be 22.

 

i've really narrowed it down

bsa lightning got one as my first gun

and just like on the frosties advert "there great!!!"

 

i hear that the supersport is also good and a bit cheaper

Why does it hav to be a springer? And why does it have to be a .22?

i would get a bsa lightning i am 14 and have had it about 3 months and its great best gun i could of got.

I have just picked up a BSA Tactical with scope for £200 and it seems great went out tonight and bagged 2 rabbits.

[Big bald beautiful 1,231]

hw 57, very underrated, light weight and simalar to the hw 77 but they have a pop up breach.

the famous record trigger and built to last.

or if not how about a hw99s, break barrel and even lighter, much better then the lightning, (there triggers are crap unless worked on).

second hand then buy a webley( british built one)
